| Abstract: | Construction is a pair of form and meaning,with an independent semantics from its compositional elements.This semantics is in interaction with the meaning of the verb in the construction.The theory of construction grammar can serve as a guide to College English teaching to improve the traditional teaching pedagogy which lays emphasis on structural analysis,and innovate English teaching methodology. |
