| 摘 要： | 连词是一种虚词,它不能独立担任句子成分而只起连接词与词、短语与短语以及句与句的作用。请看连词or在下列句子中的使用:Are we to have thecontest today or tomorrow?比赛是今天还是明天举行?Do you have your coaching in the after-noon or in the evening?你们辅导在下午还是在晚上?Hurry up,or we’ll be late.快点,否则我们要迟到了。连词主要分为两大类,即并列连词和从属连词。并列连词用来连接平行的词、词组或分句。例如:You can go either by boat or by train.你们坐轮船去或坐火车去都行。常见的并列连词有:and,but,or,nor,so,therefore,yet,however,nevertheless,for,aswell as,both...and,not only...but also,either...or,neither...nor,then等。从属连词是用来引起从句的。例如:Come when you are free.有空就来。We are ...
