| 摘 要： | 美国的高等教育认证制度在保证和提高美国高等教育质量方面起到了重要作用。在我国各高等院校开展评估工作之际，认识美国高等教育认证制度的发展、组成和特征，借鉴美国高等教育认证制度的经验，对我国高等教育评估工作具有积极的现实意义。

| Abstract: | The accreditation system of higher education in the U. S. has a significant role in improving and guaranteeing the quality of U. S. higher education. It has a practical meaning for us to study its development, constitution and characteristics and to learn from it as the evaluations are being carried out in the institutes of higher learning all over China. |
