| 摘 要： | 模糊性是人类思维和语言的根本属性,并且广泛存在于各种文体语言中.在对英语新闻报道中模糊词存在根源的分析的基础上,根据英语报刊实例和报刊英语文体特点,总结出英语新闻报道中的模糊现象具有三大作用:符合新闻报道的特性、增强新闻报道可信度以及促使新闻报道更加生动形象.同时通过对余富斌从虚实论角度对语言的模糊性与翻译的关系研究,提出在英语新闻中,模糊语言的英汉翻译应该采取模糊对模糊.精确对模糊等翻译策略.
