摘    要:根据Jeremy Harmer提出的外语课堂教学“三要素”的理论,结合中国高校学生的外语学习现状,本文提出了一种以语言实践活动为主体、学习与活动互动的口语教学模式,旨在提高学生的英语语用能力.

Abstract:Speaking is the skill that frustrates many Chinese university students.It has become a great concern to both Chinese teachers and students.This paper,based on the three elements theory of ESA advanced by Geremy Harmer,with the aim to provide an efficacious solution to the problems Chinese students are facing,puts forward a speaking teaching pattern centered on classroom activity rather of improving students' ability to use English in real life.
