| 摘 要： | 社会文化意识的培养是外语教学中不能回避的一个过程。本文论述了文化因素在外语教学中的重要性和必要性，同时，探讨了通过课堂教学、网上交流、增加课外阅读等方式提高外语学习过程中社会文化意识的可行性。

The article discusses the importance and necessity of cultural factor in foreign language teaching, and probes the feasibility in improving social and cultural awareness by means of classroom teaching, net communication and extensive reading, in the process of foreign language leaning. |
