| 摘 要： | 在孔子之前，“君子”是与“小人”专对而言，指居高位者，具有等级和身份蕴涵。到了孔子时代，“君子”的内涵逐渐由重“位”转为重“德”，成为道德理想的人格称谓，表示德性修养的有德者。探究这一转化的深刻根源，对当代仍有颇多启示。

| Abstract: | Before Confucius,the word flunky is the opposite to gentlemen,representing noble character and a high social position and a good prestige with a person.During the Confucius time,when judging a gentleman,people consider more about his moral standard rather than his social status.A virtuous person is usually praised as a gentleman.Gendemen has becomes a term describing people with high moral cultivation.It is significant for us to explore the reasons of such changes of molding the gentlemen personality. |
