| Abstract: | When we study the report delivered by Jiang Zemin at the 16th National congress of the CPC.with review of the practice of our national defense and army building, we get a profound impression that there exists a red line running through the practice of our national defense and army building over 13 years and the dissertation on the national defense and army building in the report by Jiang Zemin, that is, the innovation and development of theory based on the succeeding of Mao Zedong's military thoughts and Deng Xiaoping's thoughts of army building during the new period. |
