| 摘 要： | 高校网站作为对外传播信息的窗口,英文译文的好坏直接影响学生等获取信息量的正误,影响传播效果。在翻译时要遵从读者的阅读要求和习惯,将译文变通为读者易理解的文字。变译是根据读者的阅读习惯和要求对原作进行变通和翻译,适用于科技信息翻译、新闻翻译等实用文本翻译。网站有明显的宣传特点,属于实用文体,适用变译理论。本文用七种变译手段中的＂增＂、＂减＂、＂编＂、＂缩＂、＂并＂来说明这些策略是如何指导自己的翻译实践的。

| Abstract: | As a window of spreading information,the quality of the English version of the university website decides whether overseas readers can obtain the most relevant information about the institute and how well they could obtain.When doing website translating,translators must follow target readers＇ habits,the requirements for website writing,and try to make the English version easier for them to understand.Translation variation theory can be applied to practical texts like SciTech information translation,press translation and so on.Obviously,online introduction should be classified as practical texts.So translation variation theory would find ready application.This dissertation illustrates how translation variation theory is used to guide the translating practice. |
