| Abstract: | Chunks, as the basic language units of English, are characterized by relatively fixed structure, prefabricated as a whole and easy to be extracted. The proper and flexible application of prefabricated chunks in English writing is of great help in the promotion of students＇ language idiomaticity, expression variety and discourse coherence. |
