| 摘 要： | 美国"政治正确"语言是"政治正确"思潮在语言方面的反映,是"政治正确"运动在语言上推进的变革成果。美国英语中的"政治正确"语言主要是对种族、性别、年龄、职业、宗教信仰等方面的歧视性语言的更正性语言。"政治正确"语言在交际中主要发挥避讳功能、礼貌功能和自我保护功能。这些交际功能是美国人在交际中频繁使用"政治正确"语言的主要原因。

| Abstract: | The language of political correctness is a reflection of the thought of political correctness and an outcome of the political correctness movement in the American language.It is the language that has no discrimination and no prejudice in race,sex,age,occupation,religion and other aspects.It has taboo function,politeness function and self-protection function in American social intercourses.These communicative functions are the main reason for Americans to use the language of political correctness frequently in communication. |
