| 摘 要： | 自由主义思潮在近代中国曾经风靡一时，然而它却以悲剧的命运谢幕。这其中的基本原因有两个，一是中国传统文化对自由主义的顽强抵制，二是近代中国恶劣的政治环境不断挤压自由主义的生长和生存空间。在这两大因素的作用下，自由主义最终败北于激进主义和保守主义。

| Abstract: | The liberalism trend of thought has been very popular in recent China, however it ends with a tragic fate. There are two basic reasons for the tragic ending of Chinese liberalism. One is Chinese traditional culture＇s resistance to liberalism, and another is that the bad political environment at that time squeezes liberalism＇s growth and living space constantly, as a result of which, liberalism is defeated by radicalism and conservatism ultimately. |
