| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体,联系着特定的文化系统。由于民族历史文化的不同、哲学思想与价值观念的分野、对客观世界认识的分歧、社会生活习俗的迥异等原因,中文与英语在交流过程中存在着无法一一对应转译的现象,即词汇空缺现象。对这一现象的了解和研究,有助于消解语言障碍和困难,促进国际文化交流。

| Abstract: | Language is the vehicle of culture and contains rich cultural connotation.The lexical vacancy in English and Chinese language is caused by: first,different philosophy and value;second,different historical and religious culture;third,different social custom;fourth,different cognition of the world;fifth,national culture features.The research on the lexical vacancy can solve the language barriers and problems caused by lexical vacancy and promote the communication of international culture. |
