语言前景化与英汉翻译教学

摘    要:语言前景化(foregrounding)是诸多语言表达技巧中的一种。在日常翻译教学时发现,学生的汉语译文不够规范是教学的主要问题之一。结合语言前景化现象,对从一次英汉翻译测试抽检出来的学生译文进行探讨和分析,结果表明,将近一半的学生译文中出现语言前景化现象,这主要是由于英汉两种语言的差异和一些英语专业学生的汉语水平较低造成的。如何在英汉翻译教学中解决汉语译文的规范性问题是英汉翻译教学的关键。

Abstract:Linguistic foregrounding is one of skills in language expression.Through daily translation teaching,it is found that students are not up to standard Chinese translation is one of the major problems in teaching.With linguistic foregrounding,the sampled translated texts of students out of an English-Chinese test were explored and analyzed.The result shows that in nearly half of the texts translated by the students there appears the foregrounding phenomenon mainly due to differences between English and Chinese...
