| 摘 要： | 市井是中国普通市民赖以托身的特殊的生存空间与文化空间,是中国城市或城镇的重要构成,有着深厚的民族心理和民族文化传统的历史积淀,代表着城市的底层。抓住了市井,也就捕捉住了中国城市的“魂”。以市井作为叙事和审美对象的市民文学创作,在我国源远流长。现代中国市民小说正是现当代文学史上各阶段以市井生态景观和市俗文化为主要叙事内容的小说创作文本的聚合,它通过叙述市井文化中集体性、传承性、模式性、地方性的市俗事像和市俗心理来关注中下层民众的生存境遇、行为方式、心理愿望、宗教信仰、伦理观念、道德范型及社会组织,实际上它是以市俗的内容和文学的具体性、情感性、审美性特征相结合的方式对人类的生命过程提供了最充分的形象化的叙事。

Narrative Characteristics and Cultural Consciousness of Modern Novels on Urban Residents |

| Abstract: | A town is a unique space of subsistence and culture for ordinary Chinese townspeople and a significant component in China's cities or townships, which embraces a profound historical accumulation of national mentality and national traditions of culture as well as represents the low stratum of a city. The comprehension of the town is a key to understanding the "soul" of a Chinese city, and the literary writing of urban residents with a town as its object of narrative and aesthetics goes back to ancient times, which has been carried forward and developed. As a conglomeration of novel texts themed on civic life and civic culture at various stages of modern literary history, modern Chinese novels on urban residents show solicitude for the subsistence, mode of conduct, mental desires, religious faiths, ethic concepts, moral patterns and social structure of the urban residents in the mid-and-low social strata by depicting the civic phenomena and civic mentality characterized by collectivity, transmissibility, stereotyping and provinciality in civic culture. As a matter of fact, modern Chinese novels on urban residents have provided the fullest and vivid narrative for the process of life through the combination of civic subject matters with such literary characteristics as concreteness, emotionality and aesthetics. |
