| Abstract: | In the process of improving English language communication,Chinese college students usually put emphasis to language rule over communicative rule.In response,this paper proposes that pragmatic empathy competence is one of the most important parts in the system of intercultural communication.The paper discusses the relationship between pragmatic empathy competence and effective communication in the aspects of context,syntax and vocabulary. |
