| 摘 要： | 习语是语言的精华,含有丰富的文化背景。本文就前人研究的基础进一步从英汉习语的概念基础和习语中颜色词的文化内涵方面对习语进行了对比分析,发现英汉习语的概念基础与语言表达之间存在一致与不一致的现象,英汉习语的颜色词的文化内涵存在很大的差异。主要目的是通过对比分析找出英汉习语中的相似点和差异点,以便更好的为教学服务。

A Comparative Study on Chinese and English Idioms |

| Abstract: | This paper mainly compares the differences between Ohinese and English idioms in terns of the conceptual basis and the cultural connotation in color words. It found that the conceptual basis and the language expression between Chinese and English idions are not always in correspondence with each other and there exist great differences in the cultural connotation among the color words. It aims to find out some common feature in Chinese and English idioms which would better serve thepurpose of English language teaching |
