| 摘 要： | 本文在对汉英缩略词语进行分类总结之后,从汉语和英语两种语言的基本构成出发,运用对比分析的方法比较了汉英缩略词语的异同,并论证了以汉字为基础的汉语在词语缩略的广度以及稳定性等方面,都有着比以字母为基础的英语更为优越的特点。

| Abstract: | After classifying Chinese and English shortenings,this paper makes a comparison between the two by analyzing the lexical features of the two languages.The paper holds that Chinese shortenings,with Chinese characters as their basic building blocks,are superior to the letter-based English shortenings in both range and steadiness. |
