等效原则视角下的国产化妆品商标英译

摘    要:商标的翻译过程不受句子、段落、篇章等较深语言层次的影响。然而,由于功能上的特殊要求,牌名的翻译在一定程度上也表现出复杂的现象,也需要运用翻译理论和原则加以指导。可以说在一切翻译理论中等效原则,最适用于牌名翻译的方方面面。在等效原则的指导下,通过直译法,音译法,意译法等方法来提高品牌名称翻译的质量,增强译名的可读性。

Abstract:The present article discusses the Chinese-English Translation of Domestic Cosmetics Trademarks within the framework of Translational Equivalence Theory.Through analyzing some examples of Domestic Cosmetics Trademarks' English Translations,the article intends to find some translation methods of Domestic Cosmetics trademarks with the hope of improving its translation quality as well as improving readability of the English translations.
