| Abstract: | The environment quality evaluation about Meijiang river system was made comprehensively in this paper according to the results of monitoring its water quality. Results indicate that (1)the quantities of total nitrogen and phosphorous in the full river system are slightly high; (2)the values of COD and BOD_5 in some parts of the rivers both are not yet low; (3)others values of the quality index are generally low. The water quality of Meijiang river system is not yet harmful, but there is a eutrophication tendency in some parts of the river system, in which there are some organic pollutants. |
