语用失误与文化教学

摘    要:英汉词汇、言语行为方式、礼貌差异和英汉价值观的冲突是跨文化交际中语用失误的主要原因,而具备相应的文化知识是克服语用失误的关键.因此,教师应合理、有效地教授知识文化和交际文化,使学生掌握所学语言的正确语用规则,培养学生的跨文化交际能力.

Abstract:By analyzing the causes of the pragmatic failures in terms of lexis, distinctions in speech acts, differences in concepts of politeness, variations in values between Chinese and English, the paper points out that the key to such problems is to acquire certain knowledge of culture, and besides, it discusses how to teach learners cultural knowledge and cultural communication reasonably and effectively so as for learners to grasp appropriate pragmatic rules and develop their competence in intercultural communication.
