| 摘 要： | 模糊限制语是语言交际中常见的语言现象，具有丰富的语用功能。全文首先介绍了模糊限制语的定义和语用分类，然后从会话含义、合作原则和礼貌原则的角度分析了模糊限制语的语用功能。恰当使用模糊限制语能够使语言表达更加准确、礼貌和得体，所以在英语教学中应对模糊限制语作明示处理。

| Abstract: | Hedges,a common linguistic phenomenon in communication, have abundant pragmatic functions.In the present paper,hedges are defined and classified,with their pragmatic functions in communication analyzed from three perspectives: conversational implicature,co-operative principle,and politeness principle.The appropriate use of hedges may make the language more polite and more appropriate.So the explicit treatment of hedges in teaching is necessary. |
