摘    要:北宋教育家胡瑗主张教育社会功能论,培养“致天下之治”的人才;提出“明体达用”的教育目的论,培养通经致用的人才;首创分斋教学制度,培养学有专长的人才。胡瑗的实科实学思想不仅示范于当时而且垂法于后世,在中国古代教育史上树起一座丰碑,在世界教育史上也占有重要地位,对后世启蒙教育思想的产生和实科教育思想的发展起先导作用。
