| 摘 要： | 清代以前的百色只是名为博涩、田峒的两个壮族村落。到了20世纪30-40年代，百色城发展成为桂西的经济、政治、文化中心。究其原因有五：便利的交通提供了良好的发展基础；广东商人促进了它的近代化；鸦片贸易刺激了商业的繁业；大量移民迁入；地方政府采取了有利政策。

| Abstract: | Before the Qing dynasty,Baise was merely a combination of two Zhuang villages-Bose and Tiandong.During 1920s and 1930s Baise had become the biggest commercial port of west Guangxi and a centre of economy,politics and culture.
