摘    要:我国高校的通识教育实践主要学习美国。美国通识教育发展史上有六个关键阶段,每个阶段改革都有不同的背景、目的、课程设置与要求。但是无论在哪个阶段,专业主义、宽厚的基础、共同的文化理解都是通识教育中不变的要素。这些要素是通识教育的精髓,它们对于我国纠正大学专业教育弊端、培养学生宽厚知识基础和对社会理解的共同文化具有重要的现实意义。

Abstract:The university general education practice of our country has studied the practice of America.The development history of American general education has experienced six key stages;each stage of reform has different background,aim,curriculum and requirements.But at every stage,the professionalism,wide basic,common understanding of culture is the invariable elements of general education.These elements are the essence of general education,which has an important practical significance to correct our country professional education malpractice,cultivate the generous knowledge base of university students and the common culture of understanding the society.
