| Abstract: | The article explores the process of initiating a LATCH program in a health sciences librarv. Discussed are: factors to consider before introducing a program, developing a proposal and orienting the hospital staff to the service. Risk management concerns surrounding LATCH service are examined. A commentary on the use of LATCH in litigation is presented. |
