A Vendor-Supported Experiment in Union Listing |

| Abstract: | Libraries currently face a wide assortment of choices in developing union lists. Five local libraries linked resources with a serials vendor in a unique endeavor to make maximal use of the strengths of each party. This paper discusses the development of a common database of current serial titles, assesses the success of the project, outlines plans for the future and comments on the efficacy of such an approach to union listing. |
