| Abstract: | ABSTRACT The author discusses federal laws that relate to Russian libraries and demonstrates the need for legislation to protect the physical condition of collections, particularly special collections (rare material, deposit collections, etc.). A working group from the Historical Library has drafted a proposed law, called Regulation for the Use of Special Collections Materials in Libraries of the Russian Federation. |
