| 摘 要： | 古罗马私人图书馆的兴起深受希腊文化的影响，在国家强盛后，罗马人更多地注重精神生活，也促进了私人图书馆的兴起；同时，私人图书馆的兴起也与当时罗马社会盛行的社会思潮分不开。最初的私人图书馆是通过战争掠夺而来的，此后，罗马帝王、学者、书商等社会各阶层为私人图书馆的兴盛做出了很大贡献。私人图书馆在保存和传承罗马文化方面产生过作用和影响，另一方面它也反映出图书馆这一文化载体与文化之间的错位，从而展示出罗马文化的另一底色。
