| 摘 要： | 洪宪帝制初期,日本并没有支持袁世凯复辟帝制,大多数政治力量对帝制持反对的态度,但日本主流也没采取措施来反对袁世凯称帝,而是在外交上采取了旁观的政策。这种旁观是表面的、暂时的,其原因是多方面的,日本在当时情况下没有窥破袁世凯称帝的真实意图是其非常重要的原因之一,之外,也和当时国内外时机的不成熟密切相关。当逐渐弄清袁世凯称帝的真实意图,再加之当时反袁力量的日益强大,日本逐渐由旁观转向干涉,反对袁世凯称帝。

| Abstract: | In the early Hongxian Empire,Japan did not support Yuan Shi-kai's restoration of monarchy,and most of the Japanese political forces held a negative attitude toward it.However,the dominant forces of Japan did not take any actions to stop him but a wait-and-see attitude in diplomacy.That attitude is superficial and transient,the reasons for which were plentiful,one of them,and a very important one at that,being that Japan failed to explore Yuan's true intention of restoring monarchy,and furthermore,it had something to do with the immature opportunity at home and abroad.When Yuan's intention became clearer and clearer and the antagonistic forces in China stronger and stronger,Japan began to adjust its policy from that of lookers-on to interference and opposing Yuan's restoration. |
