开设视听说课与培养英专一年级学生交际能力的尝试

摘    要:英语专业一年级学生处于从高中向大学转型的时期。由于长期应试教育的影响,一年级新生的目的语交际能力较弱,不适应任务型情景教学,逐渐产生课堂焦虑。为此,我校为一年级新生开设初级视听说课。本文就如何通过视听说课激活学生的学习主动性和培养学生交际能力进行了初步探索,指出英语专业学生必须在基础阶段提高听、说能力,为后续的专业学习打下良好的基础。

Abstract:The first year at university is an important period for English majors,for the freshmen should adjust themselves to changes from high school students to college students.Because of being much affected by traditional education,the freshmen are commonly weak in communicational competence in the target language.They are not used to task-based activities and even suffer from class anxiety.Thus,we offer freshmen the Visual-audio-oral course.This paper analyses how to stimulate students' initiative in the course and cultivate students' communicational competence.The paper suggests that English majors should improve English listening and speaking so as to lay a good foundation for English learning.
