| 摘 要： | 教育的发展直接决定着一个国家劳动力知识存量的多少，国家素质的高低，人力资本的形成状况，从而决定着经济发展的水平和速度。面向新世纪，西部少数民族地区要实现社会全面发展，必须加大人才培养力度。而人才的培养要靠教育，优化教育结构，加快教育投入就成为西部少数民族地区经济社会加快发展的当务之急。从西部少数民族地区的实际出发，发展基础教育，职业技术教育，成人教育，师范教育等是比较理想的现实选择。

| Abstract: | Education is a decisive factor in the knowledge deposit of laborers in a country.It determines the level and speed of economic development as well.In face of the new century,ethnic area in west China should strengthen the effort in personnel training for an overall development in economy and society.Training personnel relies on education.Optimizing education structure and quickening the investment is currently the most urgent affair for accelerating the development.Based on the actual situation in the ethnic area,giving priority to basic education,vocational and technological education,continued education and normal education is the most practical strategy. |
