| Abstract: | Purpose/significance] This paper discusses the current situations and development directions of discipline construction in library, information and archives management.Method/process] Based on the discussion presentation, logical analysis and action examples of discipline construction in library, information and archives management, this paper points out the main difficulties of current discipline construction, and makes preliminary suggestions.Result/conclusion] The basic logic of discipline construction is "small logic" in accordance with "big logic", changes in response to the needs of national economic and social development, and complying with the reform of education and universities. In the practices of discipline construction of Sun Yat-sen University, there are imperfections in demand response, situation, team building, social cognition, professional setting and training scale. In order to improve these imperfect conditions, basic logic and correct selection of action strategies should be followed in the construction of this discipline. |
