摘    要:在中国古代文论中,“气”是一个传统命题,由于“气”的概念比较抽象和复杂,所以历来理解不一。本文在分析中国古代文论盛行文气说的原因时,把它与西方文论中占主导地位的“摹仿说”相比较,说明其理论阐述的重点是在创作的主体方面,即是向作家道德修养及精神状态方面提出要求与准则。其中,韩愈的“气盛言宜”与苏辙的“养气为文”二说因立意不同,“气”的内涵也有很大差异,需要准确把握。

Abstract:In ancient Chinese prose, "Qi" (vigor) is a traditional topic. As the concept of the "Qi" somewhat abstract and complicated, therefore, there have long been different understandings. On analyzing the reasons that the prevailing style takes up most part of the ancient Chinese prose, the article compares it with the "Imitation Theory" which dominates the western literature, and speaks for that its theoretical exposition focuses on the subjective of writing, that is, writers' moral culture and spiritual pursuit are demanded to develop in accordance with its requests and principles. Amidst them, Hanyu's theory that "when the style of essay is forceful the language naturally falls into place" and Suzhe's theory that "It cultivates moral character for the perfection of writing" have set forth different conceptions. Thus, there is a huge discrepancy between their own connotations. Hence it demands precise grasping.
