| Abstract: | The characteristics of the English rhythm are expounded in this essay. The interrelations and mutual affects among the English rhythm, stresses of words, sentences, the regularity of stress; the length of vowels and tones, intonations; and also the intelligibility of the English language are set forth. The right method of mastering the English rhythm is put forward. |
