| Abstract: | As a great prose master sojourning in Hongkong and Taiwan,Yu Guang_zhong is reputed for not only his unique prose_writing but also his unique views on prose criticism,as are embodied in his thorough interpretation of the prose connotations,concrete demarcation of prose functions in six aspects,extensive classification of the prose style as well as insightful concept of rationality and perception and of the scholarly prose,etc. By virtue of his criticism perspective,aesthetic principles, literary style and method of research,Yu Guang_zhong has refeshened and enlivened the prose criticim of the 20th century. |
