唐代散文“道”、“艺”论

摘    要:唐代散文重“追”表现出来的崇儒特征虽然具有复古倾向,但在根本上体现了作家济世的辅时及物精神,因此,散文无形中以是明道为准则,产生了视文章为“技艺”的社会风气。其实,散文的“道”与“技艺”不可分离。因道求艺与借艺明道都是散文本能的表现,求明道之文,归宿是道,艺同昌达道的方式或桥梁,不过散文并非以明道为唯一的使命,抒情,状景乃至游戏之文淡化了“道”而突出了散文“艺”的一面,促进了唐代散文风格的多样化。

"Dao"and"Yi"in Prose of the Tang Dynasty

Abstract:In spite of the inclination to return to classicism as manifested in its ethic consideration,the prose of the Tang Dynasty did exhibit the prose writers' mentality of caring about people and society.As such,prose of that era was chiefly assessed in line with its ethic norms,thus leading to the social milieu of taking prose_writing as a skill.In fact,Dao and Yi were mutually inseparable in prose_writing for they were closely interwoven with and highly dependent on each other.lt was due to the mutual progress in terms of Dao and Yi that prose of the Tang Dynasty had attained diversified development in style.
