| 摘 要： | 色彩是人类认识世界的重要领域,有着丰富的文化内涵。汉英语言包含着大量的颜色词,但是由于地理环境、民族风俗、思维方式、宗教信仰等文化背景的差异,汉英两个民族对各种颜色词在视觉和心理上所产生的联想象征意义、寓意也不尽相同。以＂红色＂为例,分析其在汉英语言中涵义的异同并探寻其文化根源,以便更好地了解中西方民族文化的差异,促进中西文化交流。

| Abstract: | Colour,the important field of human beings understanding the world,has rich cultural connotations.The understandings of and feelings to color words between Chinese and English people are much alike,but the associations,symbols and implied meanings of color terms to the different nations are different because of their different customs,environments,ways of thinking,religious beliefs and psychology.Therefore,it is of practical significance to know the differences between English and Chinese color words and their extended meanings so as to promote Chinese-English cultural communication. |
