| Abstract: | With the development of the cross-cultural communication,English is the most widely used language in the world.Because of the speakers from different cultural backgrounds,speakers always meet with some barriers in learning and communicating.Due to the polularity of English,we should pay more attention to language communication and application in English writing,making students skilfully use English to communicate and take into consideration the culture of English-speaking countries.Thus,cross-cultural communication greatly influences English teaching.It is not only the purpose but also the method of English teaching.The paper mainly discusses the effect and function of the cross-cultural communication in English teaching： listening,speaking,paragraph understanding and the lexicology. |
