| 摘 要： | 介绍了英式橄榄运动特点及价值。从英式橄榄球运动的审美需求、培养学生集体主义精神、娱乐功能等方面阐述了高校开设英式橄榄球课程的必要性。结合普通高校现有的设施基本能达到英式橄榄球比赛的基本要求与已有一批掌握英式橄榄球知识的教练员情况，建议在普通高等学校增设英式橄榄球选修课。

| Abstract: | In this essay, the authors introduce the athletic characteristics and values of British rugby. They analyze the necessity of setting up elective course of British rugby in colleges and tmiversities from the aspects of aesthetic requirements, cultivation of students＇ collective spirits and entertainment function, etc. Because the current facilities of colleges and universities can meet the requirements of British rugby match and a group of trainers with British rugby knowledge are available, the authors suggest setting up elective course of British rugby in colleges and universities. |
