| 摘 要： | 中华民国时期，1935年于上海举办的“第六届全国运动会”当属中华人民共和国成立前举办的7届全运会中最为成功的一届。全国诸多媒体纷纷开设专版竞相报道该项赛事，上海最有影响力的外文报纸《字林西报》也不例外。本文以《字林西报》中有关“第六届全国运动会”的报道为研究对象，以期探知外媒是如何报道和记录该项中国体育盛会的。

| Abstract: | The 6th National Athletic Meeting could be counted as the most successful one of the seven National Athletic Meetings held before the founding of People''s Republic of China. Many media across the country set up special columns to cover the game, including North China Daily News, the most influential foreign newspaper in Shanghai. Based on the news reports of 6th National Athletic Meeting in North China Daily News, the paper tries to explore how the British reported and recorded the game. |
