摘    要:以Span80、Tween80为标准乳化剂,考察异丙醇-甲苯溶剂系统中甲苯比例、溶剂用量、滴定速度及温度对水数测定的影响.适宜的参数条件为:异丙醇-甲苯溶剂系统添加量20.0 mL,体积比为100∶5,滴定速度12~20滴/min、温度40℃;绘制乳化剂的HLB值与水数之间的关系曲线,确定了多种乳化剂的HLB值.该系统毒害性小,可应用于Span系列、Tween系列、聚甘油酯类等多种乳化剂.

Study and Application of Water Titration Method Based on Isopropyl Alcohol-toluene Solvent System

Abstract:Based on the standard emulsifiers of span80 and tween80, the water titration method was investigated to detect the HLB values of emulsifiers. The factors of the ratio between isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and toluene (PhMe), solvent volume, titration time and temperature in a mixed solvent of IPA/PhMe were studied. The optimal conditions of titration were IPA to PhMe ratio of 100 : 5, solvent volume 20.0 mL, 12~20 D/rain titration time and 40℃ temperature. A calibration curve was prepared between the water number and the HLB, and the HLB values of several emulsifiers were found from it. The mixed solvent obtained was lower toxic and inexpensive. Furthermore, the HLB value of span series, Tween series and polyglycerol ester could be detected by this system.
