| Abstract: | In this article, the author deeply analyzed several famous works of the U.S. playwright Eugene O'Neill to find out O'Neill's source of tragedies. It is argued in this article that the tradition of Greek tragedies, Nietzsche's values upon moral and life and Freud's psychoanalysis are main source of his tragedies. |
