| 摘 要： | 辛亥革命导致民主观念深入人心这一观点之所以不实,依据在于民初复辟运动的疯狂、政坛混乱及民众的冷漠三个方面。其中的原因,主要来自传统的影响,还在于资产阶级知识分子的民主宣传浮光掠影、急功冒进。一个拥有数千年专制传统的国度要过渡到民主阶段,只有经历若干次甚至比暴力革命更为艰巨的深刻蜕变,民主观念方能深入人心,但这不是辛亥革命的历史使命。

| Abstract: | The stormy Revolution in 1911 failed to promote the formation of democratic consciousness in people's mind,which can be proved by the facts of the wild restoration of a dethroned feudal monarch,the chaos of the political circle and the indifference of the people in the early period of the Republic of China.That was mainly because of the impact of the old feudal tradition and additionally of superficial propaganda of democracy by the bourgeois clerisy.Rome was not built in a day.A nation with the history of thousands of years' autocracy demanded decades of or even hundreds of years to be transformed into a democratic society.Therefore,quite a long period after the Revolution was the period of transformation,which blended the old and the new,combined autarchy and democracy.And people's acceptance of the conception of democracy can only be realized after the experience of several more fierce changes than revolution,which is beyond the historical mission of the Revolution in 1911. |
