| 摘 要： | 目前口语课上学生语言功底薄弱、逻辑思维和文化素质不足。在教材的使用上，应以一套较固定的教材为主，课外教材为辅。教师应设计出合理、活泼、有益于发展学生语言能力的课堂教学活动，应围绕功能和一定的话题开展技能训练，充分发挥学生的主体作用，开展形式多样的高密度的课堂活动。

| Abstract: | Learner problems in oral English teaching for English majors in China are observed in the paper: poor elementary knowledge of the English language, lack of logical thinking and cultural background knowledge. Some solutions have been provided to these problems concerning textbooks, students, learners and teaching approaches. |
