| 摘 要： | 图书馆不是图书资料、建筑物和图书馆工作人员的简单叠加。图书馆是图书馆理念的体现。每个世界著名的图书馆都有自己独特的图书馆理念。独特的图书馆理念造就了不同的世界著名图书馆。作者考察了亚历山大图书馆、纽约公共图书馆、新加坡国家图书馆、澳大利亚新南威尔士州图书馆、多伦多公共图书馆各自的图书馆理念,并进行了进一步探讨。
