| Abstract: | Reading is one of main input ways of language study. The theory of thematic structure is an essential part of systemic--functional linguistics,and it is an effective device in text analysis. An exploration of the relationship between thematic structure and text analysis plays a very important role in the teaching of reading on text level, which is helpful in respective of revealing the main idea, the organization of textual structure of a given text with the purpose of developing reader's discourse competence. |
