| Abstract: | SuZhe is awell-known Northern Song Dynasty writer, statesman, and highly contributive historian. His historical comments were based onmorality, investigating situation and foucusing on strategy, with a strong color of satirizing the present by quoting fromhistory. This paper examines the commentary texts of SuZhe and describes several theories abouthis his torical comments to expiore the spiritual essence of his theory of history. |
