| Abstract: | Under the background of deepening college English teaching reform and with the development of independent college education, college English teachers＇ quality and professional level have a close relationship with the success of the reform. Therefore, college English teachers＇ professional development is particularly urgent. By analyzing its connotation, current situation and existing problems, this paper discusses its effective approaches to propel college English teachers＇ professional development in independent colleges and to promote the teaching reform and sustainable development. |
