| 摘 要： | 英美文学是我国高等院校英语专业的核心课程之一,它对于提高学生的人文素养有着重要的作用。然而,受中学英语教学模式的影响,大多数学生英美文学基础知识匮乏,加上该门课程教学方法的滞后,严重地影响了实际的教学效果。西方影视具有直观和信息量大的优点,它对英美文学的教学能起到良好的辅助功能。文章以英美文学教学中的实证为例,对如何将西方影视作品融入到文学史、名词解释以及文学理论介绍的教学过程中进行举隅,以期对英美文学教学方法的创新提供启示。

| Abstract: | British and American literature is one of the core courses for the English majors, which is also of great importance to cultivating humanistic quality. However, due to the short- comings in the middle school English classes, most students do not have enough knowledge a- bout English literature. The actual teaching achievement is even worse as a result of inefficient teaching method. This paper introduces the application of movies in the literature class, con- cerning history of literature, terms, and literary theories. |
